PHE Ends: Prior Authorizations Needed

May 11, 2023, marked the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE). As a result, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Service (HFS) has updated prior authorization requirements effective May 11 for home health, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
